Nutrient Information
You can find information about vitamin D, vitamin B12,
calcium, protein, omega-3 fatty acids and other nutrients our bodies need on the
Nutrient Information pages. These pages will also give you a lot of
information about the nutrient contents of different foods and which foods are
good sources for a particular nutrient.
Vitamin and Mineral SupplementsHave yourself tested regularly to make sure that you are getting enough
calcium, vitamin B12 etc.
If you are deficient, pregnant, lactating or just want to have an extra
safety net, then take supplements.
You can find vegan supplements at Vegan
Essentials and Pangea.Cooking Vegan Foods
If you are new to the vegan diet and feel a bit at loss at
what to eat, there is very good news for you. In the last years numerous vegan
cookbooks have been written. You can find many of them listed in my Cookbook
Reviews section. If you want to sample some recipes from those books, you
can visit my Recipes
section. Some great links to other online vegan recipes can be found on my
Recipes links page.
