Pecan
Pie
Yield: 1 (8-inch) pie (12 servings)
Try this for a holiday pie.
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Have ready:
- 1 (8-inch) unbaked pie crust
Blend in a food processor or blender until smooth
and creamy:
Ingredients
- 1/2 pound regular tofu
- 1 cup brown granulated sweetener of choice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/3 cup light molasses
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Fold in:
- 1 1/2 cups whole pecan pieces
Directions
Pour into the unbaked pie shell, and bake for
about 45 minutes or until cracks start to form around the edge of the filling.
