Golden Chutney (p. 62)
Serves 6
Ingredients
- 1 cup dried figs, chopped
- 1 apple, chopped
- 1/2 lemon with seeds removed, chopped (including
peel)
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions
Place ingredients in pot. Bring to a boil, then simmer for
25 minutes.
