Animal Acres	A Los Angeles Farm Animal Shelter & Compassionate Living Center. Directed by Farm Sanctuary Co-Founder Lorri Bauston.
Animal Place	Sanctuary and Education Center. A nonprofit sanctuary, founded in 1989, for abused and discarded farmed animals located in California.
Farm Sanctuary	A non-profit organization dedicated to ending the exploitation of animals used for food production. Farm Sanctuary has shelters in California and New York where they provide life-long care for hundreds of animals rescued from factory farms, stockyards and slaughterhouses.

Eastern Shore Sanctuary & Education Center	A sanctuary that provides a haven for hens and roosters who have escaped or been rescued from the poultry and egg industries or other abusive circumstances. In addition to sheltering and advocating for chickens, they conduct research and community education aimed at diet change and agriculture reform.
Poplar Spring Animal Sanctuary	A 400 acre non profit animal sanctuary located in Poolesville Maryland. They offer care, rehabilitation and permanent sanctuary for neglected, abandoned and unwanted farm animals. They also provide protected habitat for wildlife, furnish information to the public regarding farm animal and wildlife issues and promote compassion and humane treatment for all animals.
