Poplar Spring Animal Sanctuary	A 400 acre non profit animal sanctuary located in Poolesville Maryland. They offer care, rehabilitation and permanent sanctuary for neglected, abandoned and unwanted farm animals. They also provide protected habitat for wildlife, furnish information to the public regarding farm animal and wildlife issues and promote compassion and humane treatment for all animals.

It is a place where visitors can come face to face with the animals that most call “dinner” and learn about the devastating effects of modern-day agribusiness on the animals, the environment and human health.
