This is my favorite vegan cookbook. No, it doesn't contain any of my absolute favorite recipes, but I love it because of the sheer volume of good recipes that I use on a regular basis. I love it because it doesn't require a lot of ingredients, and often times I can find a recipe that uses things I have on hand, even on days when I thought "there was nothing to eat". I always comment and date a recipe when I try it, and when I look though this book I see recipes that I have tried on almost every page. It is by far my most frequently used cookbook.

"Simply" is no understatement. These recipes are SO basic that I was a bit disappointed. However, I love it when cash is tight. There are some creative, simple recipes that require the cheapest ingredients. Perfect for the beginning vegan cook who is strapped for cash.
