I love to cook, I love to eat good food, I love the animals and the earth, and I want to keep myself and
my husband healthy. Those are my motivations, and they are just about in that order of importance.
I've cooked since before I can even remember, according to my mother (and I'm a 54 year-old
grandmother now!), so cooking has always been something I love-- love to read about, love to do,
love to share, love to write about. It kind of defines me, or part of me, anyway.!

Having just completed a cookbook concentrating on the benefit of soyfoods, Bryanna´s latest book compliments it very well by focusing on fiber- rich foods such as beans, grains and vegetables in a new context, and throws away the old image of the 70s' heavy and muddy-tasting brown rice recipes. These recipes include such a variety as light breakfast waffles (made with soy beans), soups and salads, delicious bean dishes (how about pinto beans in chocolate sauce!, tuscan beans with tomato and sage, or a fiber "meat loaf" with textured soy protein and ground flaxseeds?), vegetable and grains dishes, and even including a chapter on fiber-rich cakes (sic!) - do try her brownies! These recipes are excellent for everyday use, I'd recommend any of Bryanna's books!
